Rental Policies

The following policies provide a general overview of Lake Jordan Boat Rentals rental requirements. All renters must review and sign the official rental agreement before taking possession of a vessel. If there is any difference between this page and the signed rental agreement, the signed rental agreement controls.

Reservations & Payment

Reservations are paid in advance through our online booking system. Rental pricing may include applicable taxes, delivery charges, add-ons, and other fees. A reservation is not secured until the booking process and required payment have been completed.

Full-Day Rental Window

Single-day rentals have a full-day rental window from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Pickup at 7:00 AM is not required, and later pickup times may be arranged. Partial-day and half-day reservations are not available.

Security Hold

A $600-$1200 security hold is required on the credit card on file. The hold may be used for fuel, damages, late returns, lost equipment, cleaning, or other applicable incidental charges.

Fuel

Fuel is not included in the rental price. Rentals are provided with a full tank of fuel and renters are not required to refuel before return. After the rental, Lake Jordan Boat Rentals will refill the vessel and charge for the fuel used. A minimum fuel charge may apply.

Pickup, Return & Late Returns

The primary operator must be present at pickup and is responsible for returning the vessel within the agreed rental period. Late returns may result in additional hourly charges. Renters should allow enough time to return the vessel by the required return time.

Pre-Rental Inspection

A pre-rental inspection is completed before the renter takes possession of the vessel. Existing damage or concerns are documented on the inspection sheet. Renters should report any additional condition concerns before operating the vessel.

Damage & Cleaning

Renters are responsible for damage, lost equipment, excessive cleaning, and other charges resulting from the rental. Damage caused by impact, grounding, debris strikes, improper operation, or similar events may be charged to the payment method on file. Cleaning fees may also apply when a vessel is returned in an excessively dirty condition.

Passenger Capacity

Each vessel has a maximum passenger capacity. The rated capacity shown for the rental must not be exceeded at any time.

Life Jackets & Safety Equipment

Required safety equipment and life jackets are provided with rentals. Children under age 8 must wear a life jacket while aboard the vessel, and all persons must wear life jackets while swimming from the vessel.

Operating the Vessel

The renter is responsible for safe operation of the vessel and compliance with applicable boating laws. Operating a rental while intoxicated is prohibited. The renter may not transfer responsibility for operation to an unqualified operator.

Towing, Beaching & Shallow Water

Towing tubes, skiers, or riders is permitted only with Lake Jordan Boat Rentals-approved equipment and in accordance with provided instructions. Beaching the vessel or operating in shallow water that may cause hull, propeller, or propulsion damage is prohibited.

Pets

Pets weighing more than 25 pounds are not permitted on rental vessels unless otherwise approved in advance by Lake Jordan Boat Rentals.

Navigation & GPS

Rentals are restricted to permitted inland waters and must remain within any navigational limits communicated by Lake Jordan Boat Rentals. Rental vessels may be equipped with GPS tracking devices for safety, compliance, and recovery purposes.

Cancellations, Weather & Rescheduling

Reservations are non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to an error or fault of Lake Jordan Boat Rentals. Weather conditions are the renter's responsibility. Rentals may be rescheduled to another available date in accordance with Lake Jordan Boat Rentals policies. Determination of unsafe weather conditions and eligibility for weather-related rescheduling remains at the discretion of Lake Jordan Boat Rentals.

Rental Agreement

These website policies are provided for convenience and do not replace the official rental agreement. All renters are required to review and sign the applicable rental agreement before taking possession of the vessel.
